参考消息网11月17日报道台媒报道，澳洲一个家族爆发史上最严重的乱伦案。寇特（Colt，化名）家族高达40名的成年与未成年人，被指控罔顾兄弟姊妹、父母、祖父母之间的伦常，彼此横跨4代乱伦。
　　据台湾东森新闻网11月17日报道，家长41岁男子寇特（Colt）日前赴英国旅游，返抵国门后立即遭警方逮捕。
　　根据澳洲《每日电讯报》报道，“寇特（Colt）”是法院赋予这个家族的假名；他们一家人住在新南威尔士州偏僻郊外的两辆大篷车，住处极度肮脏，没有厕所与浴室，厨具表面的污垢凝结成块，冰箱放着腐烂的蔬菜，袋鼠任意睡在孩子的床上；这个家的所有孩子都不洗澡，身上穿着旧衣服，脚受霉菌感染，脸部畸形，说出来的话让人无法理解，而且不知道牙刷与卫生纸为何物。
　　澳洲家庭社区服务部曾在2012年突袭寇特家，带走了几名孩子。他们的乱伦丑行于是被其中一名孩子在学校不经意透漏；同学们听到他说“我一个姊妹怀孕了，但我们不知道是哪一个兄弟干的。”
　　法院在6月传唤了查理．寇特，希望采得他的DNA样本，但否认所有指控的他却没有出庭。寇特被捕后向《每日电讯报》辩称，“我一生之中从来没有虐待孩子，也没有虐待其他任何人。我真心爱着我的家庭，而且不是性方面的爱。我认为那是绝对的恶心，那是错的，那与我们从小所学的一切相违背。”
　　寇特指出，这一切都是一名邻居恶意造谣，对方与他46岁的姊姊、家族女主人贝蒂．寇特（Betty Colt）争执后，就每晚到酒吧散布这些谣言。贝蒂．寇特本月初已经入狱，因为她试图从社工人员手中绑走孩子。
