[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.917969)]开放教育资源正在启动一场宁静的高等教育革命。620-22日在教科文组织的总部举行的2012年世界开放教育资源大会上,各国教育部长、高级别政策制定者及世界领军高等学府的著名学者将共同探讨如何继续深化并加速这一变革。
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.917969)]      开放式教育资源(OER :Open educational resources)是指公众可以免费自由获取的任何类型的教学资料。教师得到鼓励,使用、复制、改编并重新分享资源,以满足教学和学生的需求。
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.917969)]      在教科文组织和英联邦学习共同体(COL)的组织下及威廉与弗洛拉·休利特基金会(William and Flora Hewlett Foundation)的支持下,世界开放教育资源大会将就自由、开放教育的益处展开广泛对话。牛津大学、麻省理工学院、哈佛大学、伦敦经济学院以及一批 联合国学校将共享其在开放教育资源方面的经验、成果并以及讨论如何在其他地方进行实施并获得最佳效果。

Revolutionizing education: 2012 World Open Educational Resources CongressOpen educational resources are quietly revolutionizing higher education. Education Ministers, senior policy makers and renowned academics from the world’s leading universities will look at how this movement can be developed and accelerated at the 2012 World Open Education Resources Congress to be held at UNESCO Headquarters from 20-22 June.
[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.917969)]Open educational resources (OER) are any type of teaching materiel freely available and accessible to the public. Teachers are encouraged to use, copy, adapt and re-share open resources to suit their needs and the needs of their students.

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.917969)]Organized by UNESCO and the Commonwealth of Learning (CoL) with support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the World OER Congress will kick off a broad conversation on the benefits of open, unfettered access to education. Pedagogues from the University of Oxford, MIT, Harvard University, the London School of Economics and a host of United Nations schools will relay their respective experiences with OER, its achievements and how best to implement the policies elsewhere.
