美国肺科协会建议，应警惕慢肺阻的早期预警，如日常生活中常出现感觉“气短”等现象。专家指出，那些吸烟和被动吸烟者、有不明原因呼吸道疾病症状、幼时得过长期呼吸道感染的高危人群，应及时检测肺功能。
