  瑞士小镇Lauterbrunnen名字的意思是“many springs”(众多泉水)，它位于阿尔卑斯山脉一带，由艾格峰、僧侣峰和少女峰三面围绕，特点之一是村内拥有72条瀑布，是欧洲以至世上最美丽的小镇之一，于2001年被联合国教科文组织列为世界自然遗产。

　　 众多瀑布中又以Staubbach Falls最为著名，高度约为300米，成为欧洲最高的单体瀑布之一。 至于Trümmelbach Falls则是另一自然奇观，隐藏于山中，以每秒20,000公升之势直堕200米，并因此在在石灰岩山里刻出螺旋状形峡谷，并且直至1877年才因为人们挖山道才被发现，今日则可以透过各种设施去见证这奇观。不过在冬天时水流就少得多啊。
